The short version

The whole policy in four lines

Dynasty Ledger (dynastyledger.app) is a fantasy football tool. You can browse and connect leagues without an account. Signing in lets us save the leagues and items you choose to connect, and deliver alerts for your teams.

We use usage analytics to improve the site. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. We never ask for your Sleeper, ESPN, MFL or Underdog password.

What we store about you

Only what the features need

Account

Your email address and display name, from the sign-up form or from Google if you sign in with Google (Google also shares your profile picture). Passwords and sign-in sessions are handled by Clerk, our authentication provider; we never see your password.

Connected leagues

The fantasy usernames and league ids you connect (Sleeper, ESPN public leagues, MFL, Underdog), and the rosters, matchups and transactions of those leagues. Public platform APIs provide league data; the Underdog extension uploads the draft data you choose to sync.

What you save

Your watchlist, saved and shared trades, league dues and ledger entries, notification settings, and the snapshots of your rosters’ value we take so we can chart how your portfolio moves.

Notifications

The alerts we generate for you, and, if you turn on push notifications, the push address your browser gives us to deliver them.

Underdog extension

If you use the Ledger Underdog Sync extension, the draft data you choose to upload. It has its own policy.

The worldwide trade ledger

Public league data, published anonymously

To price players from real deals, we read trades from public Sleeper and MyFantasyLeague leagues through their public APIs, including leagues nobody on Dynasty Ledger belongs to. Anywhere we publish those trades, they appear only with the league’s format (for example “12-team superflex dynasty”) — never a league name, a manager name or a username.

The services the site runs on

Clerk

Accounts and sign-in, including Sign in with Google.

Vercel

Hosts the website. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you.

Our server

Our database and background jobs run on a server we rent and operate. Backups are encrypted in transit and kept by us.

Your browser’s push service

If you enable push notifications, alerts travel through your browser vendor’s push service (for example Google or Apple).

Cookies and local storage

Sign-in, and your display preferences

Clerk sets the cookies that keep you signed in. The site keeps a few preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as the theme and the league you last viewed. If you use the site without an account, the leagues you add are kept only there, in your browser. When usage analytics is enabled, PostHog also stores session identifiers in cookies and browser storage. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

Your account and everything tied to it

A public support and account-deletion contact has not yet been selected. We will add it here when available. When an account is deleted through our authentication provider, its profile, connected leagues, saved items, notifications and push addresses are removed from our database. Older copies may remain in backups until those backups expire under their configured retention periods. Trades from public leagues stay in the anonymous trade ledger, because they belong to those leagues rather than to your account.

You can disconnect a league or turn off any notification type at any time in Settings.

Everything else

Dynasty Ledger is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. We’ll post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
